WHERE ARE WE GOING?
Program
First day
Set sail: destination Elba
The sailing itinerary for a sailing vacation always depends on the direction and intensity of the wind and sea, but in general, here is what we will do during this outdoor experience between France and Tuscany. Meet at the port of embarkation by 9 a.m. If we want to take it easy, we can arrive the night before, booking the extra night on board in advance. We will have just enough time to stock up on provisions and set sail forElba Island, where, depending on the wind direction, we will celebrate with a first swim near Lido di Capoliveri or Procchio and Marciana Marina and spend the night at anchor. Over the next few days, with a little luck, we will spot some cetaceans as we sail towards Corsica.
For the June 2 departure, the vacation will last 5 days: the itinerary will include sailing around the islands of Elba and Capraia, so we won't be going to Corsica.
Second day
Crossing to Corsica
We cast off to begin the crossing. We will sail along the coast, passing some of the most famous beaches on the Island of Elba until we leave Tuscany behind us, with the wind guiding us across the Tyrrhenian Sea, giving us moments of pure freedom on this sailing holiday between Corsica and the Tuscan Archipelago. The voyage will be long, but upon arrival in France, we will be rewarded by the wild and unspoiled bays between Bastia and Capo Corso, such as Tamarone, Cala Genovese, and Barcaggio. Here we will spend an unforgettable night at anchor, surrounded by the silence of nature and the charm of the Corsican waters. A perfect experience for lovers of the sea and outdoor adventures.
Third day
Capo Corso, sails and dream beaches
Starting from Bastia and continuing along the coast of Capo Corso, we let the wind guide us to the most beautiful beaches in Corsica. Among the unmissable stops are the splendid Saleccia Beach, a natural paradise with white sand and turquoise waters, ideal for a refreshing dip, and the picturesque village of San Floriano. Here, the colorful houses of the old town create a charming backdrop, perfect for a stroll and a relaxing break. This sailing trip is a journey through unspoiled nature and maritime traditions, allowing you to fully experience the essence of Corsica.
Fourth day
Reverse route: towards Capraia
After exploring the northern coast of Corsica, we reverse course and continue our week-long sailing trip in Italy until we reach the island of Capraia, a wild gem of the Tuscan Archipelago. While we sail, the more active among us can assist the skipper with the maneuvers, learning the secrets of sailing, while those who prefer to relax can devote themselvesto whale watching in the heart of the Cetacean Sanctuary.
Upon arrival, a refreshing dip awaits us in the unspoiled coves of Capraia, where nature reigns supreme. The day ends with dinner ashore, enjoying the authentic flavors of Tuscan cuisine and the unique atmosphere of this wild and fascinating island. A day that combines adventure, conviviality, and the best of the sea!
Fifth day
A gentle return to the Tuscan Archipelago
We set sail again and let the wind carry us towards Procchio and Sant'Andrea, two of the most charming towns in the north of Elba Island. After days of sailing and crossing, this is the ideal day to slow down and enjoy the crystal clear sea among unspoiled coves. This is the heart of slow tourism, outdoor lifestyle, and experiences in contact with nature, increasingly sought after for summer 2026. The day ends with a night at anchor, far from lights and noise, under an incredibly starry sky: one of the most evocative moments of the entire trip, perfect for those seeking sustainable travel, wild seas, and true emotions.
Sixth day
Portoferraio and Porto Azzurro
The sailing vacation with skipper continues with a stop to visit Portoferraio, the historical and cultural heart of Elba Island, where you can breathe in the authentic atmosphere of an ancient fishing village. We continue towards the beautiful Bay of Porto Azzurro, surrounded by green hills and crystal clear waters, ideal for an afternoon of diving and snorkeling on Elba. Before ending the day, we go ashore for some shopping in the characteristic shops and finish off with a typical Tuscan dinner, enjoying the genuine flavors and views that make this island an unforgettable destination.
