For those who wish to travel with additional coverage, Jonas offers a number of optional supplementary policies provided by Allianz Global Assistance.
We are not an insurance agency and do not sell these policies directly: our role is simply to inform you about the options available, so you can decide for yourself whether to take out one of the recommended insurance policies, based on your travel needs, and add it to your booking.
CANCELLATION We all deserve a vacation! However, sometimes unforeseen circumstances can interfere with our plans. That's where Globy cancellation policies come in, designed specifically to offer you peace of mind and flexibility during the booking process.
Please note that we can issue these two policies ONLY IF the subscription and payment are made no later than 30 days before departure. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, the policy must be issued within 24 hours of booking.
The Globy Giallo and Globy Verde policies cannot be taken out in the case of Jonas Box and Welfare credits.
BASIC HEALTH AND LUGGAGE INSURANCE POLICY
The policy is INCLUDED in the vacation price. It covers assistance and medical expenses while traveling, even in the event of illnesses caused by diagnosed epidemics or pandemics, such as COVID-19, and any quarantine.
Luggage is also insured in the event of loss, theft, or damage.
Available only to residents or individuals domiciled in Italy.
Red Globy
MEDICAL EXPENSES AND LUGGAGE TOP
If the basic health and baggage insurance already included in the price is not enough for you, choose TOP coverage for TRAVEL ASSISTANCE, MEDICAL EXPENSES, and BAGGAGE, which INCREASES the coverage limits.
Travel assistance and medical expenses coverage is also valid in the event of terrorism, pre-existing conditions, epidemics or pandemics, and natural disasters.
This policy varies depending on the length of the vacation and the destination.
Holidays up to 4 days:

Holidays lasting 5 to 10 days:
€22 if the destination is Italy
€49 if the destination is Europe
€85 if the destination is outside Europe

Globy Yellow
CANCELLATION POLICY
Globy Giallo is the cancellation policy valid until departure. If you are unable to go on vacation, the insurance company will reimburse the penalty resulting from your cancellation of the trip, if it is due to serious and documented events that occurred after the booking, if they are due to objectively documented events (e.g., new or pre-existing chronic illnesses, work reasons, pregnancy, or illness of your dog or cat, diagnosed pandemic illnesses, or acts of terrorism). The reimbursement ranges from 80% to 100% of the penalty, depending on the severity of the reason.
The policy costs 7.1% of the total travel cost, which includes the price of the vacation and additional services (e.g., bike rental, single supplement, e-bike, etc.).
Example:
If the total cost of your trip is €1000, the cost of the policy will be:
1000 × 7.1% = €71

Green Globy
ALL-INCLUSIVE POLICY
Complete coverage for your trip and vacation! It combines the coverage of Globy Rosso and Globy Giallo in a single product: protection in case of cancellation of your booking before departure, extended coverage for medical expenses during your trip, and reimbursement for your unused vacation in case of early return due to serious medical reasons.
This policy varies depending on the length of the vacation and the destination.
Holidays up to 4 days:
5.9% of the trip cost for cancellation coverage + fixed fee for health coverage:
€18.50 if the destination is Italy
€32.50 if the destination is Europe
€81.00 if the destination is outside Europe
€112.00 if the destination is the USA or Canada
Holidays lasting 5 to 10 days:
5.9% of the trip cost for cancellation coverage + fixed fee for health coverage:
€23.50 if the destination is Italy
€46.00 if the destination is Europe
€81.00 if the destination is outside Europe
€112.00 if the destination is the USA or Canada
Trips lasting 11 to 16 days:
5.9% of the trip cost for cancellation coverage + a fixed fee for medical coverage:
€34.50 if the destination is Italy

Trips lasting 17 to 31 days:

The "Total Travel Cost" includes the base cost of the vacation and any additional services you decide to include.
