This is the way Jonas has always chosen to accompany its travelers.
With "Jonas Consapevole" (Conscious Jonas), we want to tell the story of this journey made up of concrete choices, small daily gestures, and a great deal of consistency.
Because sustainability, for us, is not a slogan: it is a direction to take, together.

 

🚲 A journey that starts slowly

We choose gentle mobility because we believe that the pace of travel changes everything.
On foot, by bike, by sail: every step, every pedal stroke, every day spent at sea is an invitation to slow down, observe, and respect.
Our itineraries are based on this idea: we favor places that can be reached without a car, that are less touristy and more authentic, where nature and tranquility are an integral part of the experience.

🏘 Traveling also means meeting people

Every destination we reach is inhabited by stories, faces, and knowledge.
We collaborate with small businesses, local organizations, producers, and artisans to build a form of tourism that does not "consume" but rather enhances.
In doing so, we contribute to the economic development of the areas we love, while offering our travelers a more authentic, richer, and more human experience.

💬 Tell stories to bring about change

Talking about sustainability is important, but putting it into practice is even more so.
That's why, every day, we try to share ideas, tips, and suggestions for traveling in an increasingly conscious way.
We do this through our own channels, but also through European projects such as First Mile, in which we are involved to promote responsible behavior among travelers.
We believe that everyone, even on vacation, can do their part.

 

🤲 Beyond the journey

Our commitment to sustainability is also reflected within Jonas:
we respect those who work with us, promote work-life balance (our team is largely made up of women and mothers), and support social and environmental projects.
We adopt beehives and trees, collaborate with Dynamo Camp, and choose responsible suppliers.
Not because it's "good for our image," but because it's truly good.

 

🔍 Always on the move

To measure and strengthen our commitment, we have embarked on the path to Travelife certification. Travelife, an international recognition aimed at those who operate in tourism in a responsible, ethical, and transparent manner.
This is an important step towards growth, comparison, and improvement.
