WHERE ARE WE GOING?
Program
First day
Welcome to Valencia
Arrival in Valencia in the afternoon and check-in at the hotel in the heart of the city. After check-in, meet with the Italian guide who lives in Valencia who will accompany us during this adventure. During the initial briefing, we will find out in detail what awaits us in the coming days of our cycling holiday in Valencia: guided bike tours to discover the historic city, Calatrava's works in the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the golden beaches, and the scents of the Turia Gardens.
To begin to savor theatmosphere of Valencia, we will dine in a typical Spanish restaurant, enjoying local specialties such as Valencian paella. It will be the perfect start to a week of fun, culture, and nature.
Second day
In the heart of Valencia
In the morning, we will take a guided walking tour of the historic center of Valencia. We will visit the wonderful Valencia Cathedral and its bell tower known as the Miguelete, where at the top of the tower is the bell called Miguel, named after the Archangel Saint Michael, who was tasked with protecting the city from evil. We will enter the Plaza Redonda, continuing on to Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the seat of the City Council. We arrive at the ancient and majestic Mercat Central and the Lonja de la seda, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996. Lunch and free afternoon to relax, shop, or do whatever we prefer!
Third day
Albufera by bike
Excursion outside the city to discover the natural lagoon of Albufera, near the city of Valencia. We will pass through the historic center and the beautiful Turia Park and, thanks to a cycle path that will take us several kilometers, we will arrive at the Albufera lagoon. We will cycle along a strip of land between the salt waters of the sea and the fresh waters of the lagoon. It will be a total immersion in nature, all the way to the village of El Palmar, where a traditional boat will be waiting for us for a relaxing panoramic tour and for a very good reason: to taste the best paella in Valencia! A paella by the sea, all together, will be the ideal way to recharge our batteries before returning to the city.
Fourth day

Today we have the Valencia city tour. A guided bike ride through the streets of historic center of Valencia. We will visit the famous squares: Plaza de la Virgen, Plaza de la Reina, Plaza de l'Ayuntamento, up to the wonderful Cathedral and the Torres de Serranos. We then take a real dive into the history and culture of Ciutat Vella. Valencia is history but also modernity: we will cycle towards the area of the future, the architectural complex of the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències , designed by Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, crossing the wonderful Turia Gardens. Free time for a possible visit. Return to the city center, free afternoon, and in the evening we will meet for dinner together in a traditional Spanish restaurant.
Fifth day
After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to beautiful Valencia. During this bike vacation , we strolled through its historic center, enchanted by the majestic Valencia Cathedral and the Lonja de la Seda. We breathed in the authentic energy of the Valencia Central Market, the beating heart of the city. On our bikes, we rode through the lush green Turia Parkuntil we reached the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, a masterpiece of modern architecture. And of course, we tasted the true flavor of Valencian culinary tradition, with an unforgettable paella born right here. Valencia bids us farewell with sunshine and smiles. Have a safe trip back, everyone... until the next adventure!
Direct flights from major Italian airports with Ryanair. From Valencia Airport (VLC), the most convenient way to reach the hotel is by taxi, which takes about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic and is available directly at the arrivals terminal exit. Alternatively, you can use public transport: metro lines 3 or 5 connect the airport directly to the city center; you can get off at Túria station and then walk for about 10 minutes or take a short taxi ride from Túria to the hotel. Although public transport is a valid and economical option, a taxi is generally more convenient, especially if you are traveling with luggage.
