Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, these mountains are home to scenic trails, flower-filled meadows, and silent forests. We will walk among 790 species of plants, encounter authentic life in alpine villages such as Castelrotto, and let ourselves be guided on medium/easy hikes in the Sciliar Nature Park, along little-traveled paths, ideal for those who love true contact with the mountains. Program
First day
Our trekking holiday in the Dolomites begins in the afternoon: we meet at the hotel at the foot of the Sciliar massif, easily reachable by public transport from Bolzano in about 40 minutes.The 3-star hotel offers comfortable rooms, a wellness center with swimming pool and sauna, and a privileged view of the Dolomites. After check-in, we will introduce the group and have dinner, followed by an evening briefing on the program. The mountains welcome us with their warm light and pure air: we are ready to go.
Second day
With our backpacks on our shoulders, we set off directly from the hotel fora hike to the Laghetti di Fiè lakes, crossing forests of spruce and Scots pine. Every step offers picturesque views and authentic contact with alpine nature. At lunchtime, we stop at a traditional mountain hut to enjoy local dishes. In the afternoon, relax at the hotel spa: swimming pool, sauna, or a quiet moment in the wellness area. Convivial evening with dinner included.
Third day
In the wild heart of the Alpe di Siusi
We dedicate the dayto the Alpe di Siusi, the largest plateau in Europe. Following a circular trail with an expert guide, we explore high-altitude meadows, woods, and pastures: a true paradise for those who love walking. The alpine flora and fauna—marmots, chamois, birds of prey—enrich the experience: the guide will show you what to look for and explain the natural balance.
Fourth day
Bressanone, then relaxation
"Culture and relaxation" day: visit to Bressanone, a historic Alpine town in the Isarco Valley with medieval streets, elegant arcades, and the splendid cathedral in Piazza Duomo. Free time for a stroll, then return to the hotel in the afternoon, where access to the wellness center with swimming pool, sauna, and whirlpool is included. To end the day, final dinner at the hotel to talk with the group about how the day went.
Fifth day
Slow steps towards Marinzen
Hike from Siusi to the Marinzen hill, surrounded by larch forests. Option to have lunch in a mountain hut with local specialties. Return to Siusi on foot via Bagni di Ratzes, crossing silent forests and meadows. Snack at the hotel and free time for wellness: swimming pool or relaxation area.
Sixth day
The most beautiful farewell to the mountains
Last group excursion: mini-tour from Val Gardena to Alpe di Siusi. We will walk among flowering pastures and lush forests, at a leisurely pace. In the evening, a convivial dinner to celebrate our outdoor vacation: panoramic views, sharing, and new friendships.
Seventh day
Breakfast with a view of the Dolomites and a farewell to the landscapeof the Alpe di Siusi: the meadows, the woods, and the energy of the group will remain etched in your memory. This vacation, designed for those who love stress-free walking, is also perfect for those new to trekking: medium-easy level with accommodation in a South Tyrolean hotel with a wellness center. And convenience: the Alpe di Siusi is easily accessible by public transport from Bolzano. Goodbye mountains, see you on the next adventure!
