Roeselare
Your cycling holiday in Flanders begins in Roeselare. This lively town is famous for its historic buildings, the National Cycling Museum, the Rodenbach brewery, and Roeselare Castle. Settle into the hotel room we have booked for you, pick up your rental e-bike and get ready to cycle part of the cycle tour of Belgium. The cycle paths of Flanders are waiting for you, so all you have to do is start with a first free visit to the city. Do you like tours that are organized in every detail? With us, you can also book bike rental, choosing between a traditional bike or an e-bike: remember to let us know your choice.
Sunday
Roselare - Ypres
We warm up our legs with an easy first bike tour of just over 30 km, which will take you to Ypres, a beautiful medieval town. You will cycle smoothly through rolling hills and reach Tyne Cot Cemetery, dedicated to the Great War. The Belgium bike tour can also be done with children, provided they are used to long bike rides. Once you arrive in the city, we recommend visit the market square in Ypres, the Menin Gate Memorial and walk along the ramparts. Want to know something interesting? Find out why Ieper is known as the city of cats!
Monday
Ypres - Diksmuide
Our e-bike trip ebike in Flanders continues towards Poperinge, a town surrounded by hop fields and home to the famous Westvleteren Trappist beer, produced by the monks of St. Sixtus Abbey and considered one of the best in the world. The route, flat and immersed in the quiet of the Flemish countryside, offers authentic rural views and the scents of malt and barley. Continuing along the banks of the Yser, among mills and small villages, we reach Diksmuide, a historic Belgian town. Shall we end the day by enjoying a local beer to celebrate this wonderful day in the saddle?
Tuesday
Diksmuide - Bruges
Cycling through rolling fields and gentle hills, you will reach Bruges: a unique experience in a succession of silence and Flemish views that seem to have come out of a Flemish painting.
Among parks and tree-lined avenues, you can reach the area of the mills, Vismarkt and the Bruges Fotoplaats, the most photographed corner of the city! If you like authentic handmade products, Bruges is the right place to shop: look for the Handmade in Bruges label and you can be sure you have bought a local, handmade product. These are the aspects we like about sustainable holidays.
Wednesday
Bruges – Knokke
Ready for a magical encounter? Today, our bikes will take us to the North Sea, with its sand dunes and wide natural beaches! Let's discover Knokke, the most fashionable village on the Belgian coast, where we can cycle along the streets or put on our swimsuits and enjoy a refreshing dip! As part of this outdoor cycling holiday in Flanders , you can also visit the Het Zwin nature reserve and the picturesque village of Damme. In the afternoon, we get back on our bikes and return to hotel in Bruges. Traditional restaurant or dinner at the hotel? The choice is yours.
Thursday
Bruges – De Haan
We continue our journey along the Belgian coast to De Haan, a charming seaside village that has preserved the charm of the Flemish Belle Époque . Cycling among elegant Art Nouveau villas, tree-lined avenues, and golden beaches overlooking the North Sea, we discover one of the most authentic places on the Flemish coast. The slow pace of a cycling holiday in Belgium allows us to enjoy every detail, from the scent of salt air to the architecture of yesteryear. In the evening, we return to Bruges, ready to enjoy the evening magic of the city illuminated by the reflections of its canals.
