First day
Amersfoort
Your cycling vacation in Holland starts at Amersfoort, a typical town whose historic center is enclosed by a spectacular 15th-century medieval gate. Reach the hotel and drop off your luggage, then get ready to visit the city.
On a self-guided vacation like this, you have the freedom to discover the city on your own, leaving room for your passions. Why not visit one of the local museums, such as the birthplace of Piet Mondrian, stroll through the typical narrow streets in the heart of the city, or enjoy a tasting of local beers? It's up to you.
Second day
Amersfoort – Amsterdam
Hop on your ebike and ride along the shores of the picturesque Lake IJssel, a route immersed in the tranquility of the Dutch countryside, dotted with windmills and picturesque villages. The destination is Amsterdam, with its famous canals, cobbled streets, and vibrant energy that invites discovery.
By bike, you can visit the most iconic places such as the Rijksmuseum, home to timeless masterpieces, or the Van Gogh Museum, where you can immerse yourself in the life and works of the famous painter. Exploring Amsterdam by bike reveals its most authentic side and allows you to experience every corner in an unusual way.
Third day
Amsterdam – Zandvoort/Noordwijkerhout
Today you will enjoy one of the most memorable experiences of your self-guided vacation in Holland: the tulip bike tour! Following the handy roadmap provided, you will cycle independently through breathtaking landscapes. The route will take you to Haarlem, a city famous for its picturesque gardens and the romantic atmosphere of its narrow streets.
You will continue on to the famous Keukenhof Park, the most spectacular garden in Europe, known throughout the world for its extraordinary blooming tulips, a riot of colors and scents.
At the end of the day, depending on hotel availability, you can end the stage by relaxing on the sandy beaches of Zandvoort or in the quiet village of Noordwijkerhout, surrounded by flower-filled fields. A perfect day combining nature, relaxation, and the freedom to travel at your own pace!
Fourth day
Zandvoort/Noordwijkerhout – The Hague/Delft
Continue discovering the towns around Amsterdam alternating between culture and enchanting landscapes. Cycling takes you to Leiden, a lively university town known for being the birthplace of the famous painter Rembrandt.
After exploring its canals and academic atmosphere, we head towards the beautiful beach of Scheveningen, one of the most popular seaside resorts in Holland. How about taking a break?
The last stop of the day is The Hague (The Hague in Dutch) with its many museums and attractions along the canals, such as the Mauritshuis , which houses paintings by Rembrandt and Vermeer or the entertainment streets of Molenstraat and Oude Molstraat. Overnight stay in The Hague or Delft depending on hotel availability and season.
Fifth day
The Hague/Delft – Papendrecht
Once you have left your suitcase in the luggage storage area included luggage transport included in the package, hop on your bike for the next stage of our tour of Holland.

Continuing along the banks of the Lek River , you will arrive in Utrecht, one of the most charming cities in Holland. Seventh day
Utrecht – Amersfoort
After visiting the historic center of Utrecht, with its typical architecture and beloved canals, we return to Amersfoort, enjoying the splendid postcard views of the Netherlands. Netherlands.
We are almost at the end of this week of cycling in which we have visited all the places to see in Holland. Just think of all the stories and pictures you'll have to share with your friends back home when you return to Italy!
If you haven't purchased the half-board package, we recommend treating yourself to one last dinner featuring typical Dutch products: erwtensoep, a pea and sausage soup, and stamppot, mashed potatoes served with meatballs or meat sauce.
Eighth day
After a delicious breakfast, it's time to leave your room and conclude this extraordinary self-guided experience in Holland. Cycling along the canals, visiting cities rich in history such as Amsterdam, and exploring picturesque Dutch villages will remain among your fondest memories.
If you still have time, take advantage of it to take a last stroll through the city or visit the local markets before leaving. Your vacation ends here, but the emotions you have experienced will stay with you for a long time!
From Amsterdam Airport (Schiphol Airport), take the Intercity train to Amersfoort.
