Today's destination is Nonza, one of the most charming villages in Corsica, perched on a cliff with a panoramic Genoese tower and the famous black volcanic pebble beach, a landscape that creates a striking contrast with the intense blue of the sea. After a refreshing swim and a relaxing break in the village's narrow streets, you are ready to return at a leisurely pace to Saint-Florent, cycling through wild nature, vineyards, and spectacular cliffs. Monday
We leave the port of Saint-Florent behind us and begin our ride towards the rolling hills of Nebbiu, one of the most fascinating areas of northern Corsica. Here, the landscape changes rapidly: from the crystal clear waters of the gulf, we venture among vineyards, olive groves, and Mediterranean scrub, surrounded by the scent of myrtle and wild rosemary. The road climbs gently and offers extraordinary panoramic views, where we can stop to take breathtaking photos and admire the view of Saint-Florent from above. The contrast between the intense blue of the sea and the bright green of Corsican nature makes the route a unique experience for those who love to discover a corner of Corsica by bike. After a pleasant break, we resume our ride, tackling a scenic descent that gently takes us back to Saint-Florent, with the last exciting view of the gulf accompanying us until our return.
