First day
The first Greek flavors
Thesailing itinerary between Corfu, Antipaxos, and Sivota begins with boarding in Benitses, on the island of Corfu, from 5:00 p.m. onwards. Once you have settled into your cabin, attend the briefing and then choose a typical restaurant for dinner.
You can participate in this vacation even if you have no sailing experience and if you are traveling alone. On board you will find skippers and hostesses who will take care of navigation and preparing breakfast and lunch (all dinners will be held ashore), making your experience even more relaxing. All you have to do is enjoy your vacation and get to know the other participants on board.
Of course, if you are traveling with your family or a group of friends , you can consider chartering the entire boat with a skipper and hostess/steward on board.
Second day
You never forget your first harbor
Our week sailing in the Ionian Islands begins with a sail to the spectacular Blue Lagoon in Sivota, one of most beautiful bays in Greece. Here, the turquoise waters and white sand create a breathtaking contrast, perfect for a refreshing swim or a spot of snorkeling among the rocky coves. Breakfast and lunch will be prepared by the crew and eaten on board, while for dinner, the enchanting town of Sivota awaits. Sivota. The small port with its lively atmosphere is ideal for a stroll along the seafront and a traditional Greek dinner with a view of the moored boats. The crew will be happy to recommend some interesting places :-)
Third day
Lakka, the blue heart of Paxos
Our sailing trip sailing boat in the Ionian Islands continues towardsIsland of Paxos, landing in the picturesque bay of Lakka, famous for its crystal clear waters and breathtaking seabed. We can use the tender to explore hidden caves and stretches of coastline accessible only by sea, perfect for an unforgettable dip. What tasty recipes will the hostess/steward prepare for us today for lunch? After a day of sea and relaxation, we disembark to take part in an evening excursion through the alleys of Lakka, discovering the authentic charm of the island. An unmissable experience to enjoy Paxos from every perspective! Dinner on shore at your leisure.
Fourth day
Good morning in the Aegean
Can you smell the aroma of coffee, prepared every morning by the crew? It's pure relaxation! We start the day by exploring the spectacular sea caves of Paxos, rock formations sculpted by the sea that create unique plays of light. Here we can swim in the turquoise waters and admire the contrast between the white cliffs and the deep blue sea, or search for the most beautiful beaches of Antipaxos to see by boat. This paradise island is known for its crystal clear waters, considered among the most beautiful in Greece. In the evening, we will reach Gaios, the capital of theIsland of Paxos, where a stroll through picturesque alleys awaits us. Street food or dinner at a seaside restaurant? The choice is ours.
Fifth day
Corfu, south side
After a week of sailing between Paxos and Antipaxos , we return to the south of Corfufor a day of fun and relaxation. The southern coast of the island welcomes us with golden beaches, hidden coves, and crystal clear waters, perfect for a boating holiday. This area of Corfu is less crowded and retains a wild charm, with stretches of coastline surrounded by nature and small fishing villages. At sunset, we move to Boukari or Kaliviotis, two fishing villages with a typical Greek atmosphere, where we can choose a place for a quick dinner or a typical restaurant where we can eat fish.
Sixth day
Corfu, light step
Thursday begins at a leisurely pace, as we enjoy breakfast in the cockpit, lulled by the sea breeze, followed by a visit to the Notos Botanical Garden, a corner of paradise surrounded by greenery. Here we can stroll along shaded paths, discovering an extraordinary variety of Mediterranean and tropical plants, with spectacular views of the turquoise waters of the southern coast of Corfu. In the afternoon, we resume sailing and, following the jagged coastline, arrive beneath the majestic walls of the castle of Old Corfu. Last dinner ashore in the company of our new adventure companions.
Seventh day
Disembarkation
Today we have a boat tour with a visit to Pontikonissi and the Monastery of Vlacherna. We conclude this authentic sailing experience with lots of dips in the sea and a final stop in front of Princess Sissi's palace. We return to the port of embarkation at 4 p.m. If we have booked a return flight on Friday, we can disembark this evening, otherwise we stay on board for another night and vacate our cabin on Saturday morning by 8.30 a.m. We have come to the end of this sailing trip with a skipper among the Ionian Islands , which we will remember for a long time to come. See you on our next vacation!
From Corfu Airport, you can reach the marina by public bus or taxi.
Ferries to Corfu or Igoumenitsa. From Igoumenitsa to Corfu, there is a ferry service (Kerkira-Igoumenitsa) with departures approximately every hour and a journey time of one and a half hours.
