Welcome to Padua
Arrival at the hotel in Padua and meet with the guide at 4:00 PM. After a brief welcome, we’ll begin exploring the city by gathering for a tasting dinner dedicated to the authentic flavors of the region: a convivial occasion to get to know the group and discover the rich culinary traditions of Veneto. If the weather permits and you’re up for a walk, we’ll conclude the evening with an evening stroll through the historic center, soaking in the elegant and tranquil atmosphere of the illuminated city.

Saturday will be a day dedicated to experiencing the authentic spirit of Padua, starting with a guided tour of Palazzo Bo (optional), the beating heart of the historic University. After this cultural immersion, we’ll stop for a break at the famous Caffè Pedrocchi or at the Graziati pastry shop, where you can enjoy pastries and local specialties. Now we’re getting to the highlight of our weekend in Padua by exploring the city market, in the shadow of the Palazzo della Ragione, between Piazza della Frutta and Piazza delle Erbe, sampling the typical tramezzini and octopus. In the afternoon, the exploration continues at La Specola, theancient astronomical tower that has been turned into a museum, showcasing a passion for science. In the evening, dinner at a restaurant to enjoy local flavors.

Tradition and Wonder
Sunday morning will be dedicated to one of the most evocative and meaningful experiences Padua has to offer: you can choose to visit the Basilica del Santo, a pilgrimage destination for people from all over the world, or, alternatively, immerse yourself in the natural tranquility of theBotanical Garden, the oldest university botanical garden in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Whatever you choose, we’ll meet up again with the rest of the group to wrap up our 3 days in Padua: let’s toast together with an drink in Padua’s historic center together with our tour guide. See you next time!
Padua is well connected to many Italian cities. Once you arrive at Padua station, you can easily reach the city center on foot (in about half an hour) or by bus, with a journey time of about 15 minutes.
For those arriving by car, parking is available at a cost of €12 per day (per car) at the facility.
