First day
We'll arrive in Brisighella in the late afternoon Brisighella, where we’ll meet our expert guide right at the hotel. We’ll have a briefing and our first dinner together, then anyone who wants to can take a stroll through historic alleys and enjoy the scenic views. This outdoor experience in Romagna is perfect for those seeking an alternative to the usual tourist itineraries, to rediscover the pleasure of an authentic journey through nature, history, and the traditional flavors of Romagna’s cuisine.
Second day
In the Heart of the Vena del Gesso
This organized tour begins witha hike in the Vena del Gesso Romagnola Regional Park, along the trail that leads from Brisighella to the Monticino Quarry and its open-air geological museum. We’ll pass through olive groves and woods on our way to the Carnè Mountain Hut, surrounded by nature rich in biodiversity. With a little luck, we might spot roe deer, birds of prey, and rare butterflies. A perfect experience for those who love hiking in nature and want to enjoy an outdoor vacation in Emilia-Romagna away from mass tourism.
Third day
Between Ancient Stone and Waters
We’ll drive a short distance before setting out on a hike along the scenic trails of the Vena del Gesso Romagnola, passing through deciduous forests and ancient gypsum quarries—symbols of this region’s geological history. In the afternoon, a well-deserved break awaits us at the Riolo Thermal Baths, where we can rejuvenate ourselves in the thermal waters surrounded by greenery. The day will conclude with a convivial dinner and an evening spent in good company, immersed in the authentic atmosphereof the Romagna Apennines.
Fourth day
Between History and the Beauty of Romagna
The final day begins with an exciting urban hike in Brisighella, one of the most charming villagesin the Romagna Apennines. As we wander through picturesque narrow streets, we’ll visit the Rocca Manfrediana and the famous Clock Tower, icons of local history and culture. After a convivial lunch, around 2:00 p.m., we’ll say our goodbyes… but only until our next group outdoor weekend, when we’ll continue discovering the wondersof Emilia-Romagna.
