First day

We'll arrive in Brisighella in the late afternoon Brisighella, where we’ll meet our expert guide right at the hotel. We’ll have a briefing and our first dinner together, then anyone who wants to can take a stroll through historic alleys and enjoy the scenic views. This outdoor experience in Romagna is perfect for those seeking an alternative to the usual tourist itineraries, to rediscover the pleasure of an authentic journey through nature, history, and the traditional flavors of Romagna’s cuisine.

Second day

In the heart of the Vena del Gesso
The organized tour begins anhike in the Vena del Gesso Romagnola Regional Park, along the trail that leads from Brisighella to the Cava Monticino and its open-air geological museum. We will cross olive groves and woods to reach the Carnè Refuge, surrounded by nature rich in biodiversity. With a little luck, we may spot roe deer, birds of prey, and rare butterflies. A perfect experience for those who love trekking in nature and want to enjoy an outdoor vacation in Emilia-Romagna away from mass tourism.

Third day

Between ancient stone and water
We will travel a short distance by car before setting off on a hike along the scenic trails of the Romagna Gypsum Vein, crossing deciduous forests and ancient chalk quarries, symbols of the geological history of this area. In the afternoon, a well-deserved relaxation at the Terme di Riolo, where we can rejuvenate ourselves in the thermal waters surrounded by greenery. The day will end with a convivial dinner and an evening in good company, immersed in the authentic atmosphere of theRomagna Apennines.

Fourth day

Between history and Romagna beauty
The last day begins with an exciting urban trek in Brisighella, one of the most charming villages in theRomagna Apennines. Among picturesque streets, we will visit the Manfrediana Fortress and the famous Clock Tower, icons of local history and culture. After a convivial lunch, at around 2 p.m. we will say goodbye... but only until the next outdoor weekend with the group, to continue discovering the wonders ofEmilia-Romagna.

Itinerary information
The vacation includes easy trekking excursions with an elevation gain of generally 200-300 meters.
Notes
Local transportation: There will be very few trips, but when necessary, they will be made using participants' cars, with expenses shared. If no vehicles are available, a minibus will be rented locally at an extra cost, but it must be booked in advance, subject to availability.
