A route between two mountains jutting out into the sea: on one side, the Conero, Italy's elbow extending into the Adriatic Sea, with its charming Conero Riviera. On the other, the Argentario promontory overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Between these two mountains lies Italy and a 454-kilometer bike route that favors valleys and ridges to avoid challenging climbs, crossing the Apennines at one of the lowest points in Central Italy. On mainly secondary and paved roads, you will venture into an enchanting territory, dotted with towns and villages rich in history and traditions, stopping in some of Italy's most beautiful cities: Osimo, Assisi, Orvieto, and Pitigliano, for example. Experience this adventure on two wheels, from the Adriatic Sea to the Tyrrhenian Sea, through four regions: Marche, Umbria, Lazio, and Tuscany.

Program
First day
Arrival in Ancona and check-in at the hotel. Delivery of bikes if rented. Dinner and overnight stay.
Second day
Ancona - Osimo
From the city center, we head towards the Conero coast to greet the Adriatic Sea. Mezzavalle beach is the perfect place for a refreshing swim. We then pass through Poggio and Camerano to finally reach the end of our first stage: Osimo.
Third day
Osimo - San Severino
Cycling through the hills of the Marche region is like riding through a painting. Beautiful dirt roads, ideal for all types of bikes, wind through fields that are colorful in every season and dotted with farmhouses. We are in the hills of Giacomo Leopardi, and everything takes on a poetic air! We pass through Filottrano and Treia, with wonderful views of the Marche region.
Fourth day
San Severino - Pioraco
First stage in the Apennines. From San Severino Marche, we climb through the extensive woods of Camerino and arrive at Pioraco in the Potenza River gorge.
Fifth day
Pioraco - Assisi
We enter Umbria, crossing the Apennines at Monte Alago, the highest point of the route (950 meters), passing through Nocera Umbra, the city of waters, and finally arriving in the city of St. Francis: Assisi, where art, spirituality, history, and culture abound.
Sixth day

A stretch of flat land in the Spoleto valley to Bevagna, then we climb up through the Sagrantino hills to Todi. We pass Civitella del Lago above Lake Corbara and arrive in Orvieto.
Seventh day
Orvieto - Manciano
We catch sight of Lake Bolsena, travel along a stretch of the Via Francigena, cross the Tuscia region of Viterbo, and enter Tuscany. Worth noting are Sorano, surrounded by forests, Sovana in Maremma, and Pitigliano, which stands on a tuff cliff. We take a dip in the Terme di Saturnia, one of the most beautiful free thermal baths in Italy, and climb up to Manciano. From here, we are finally greeted by the view of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
