Try the Via Verde cycle path in Abruzzo, starting from San Benedetto del Tronto and ending in San Salvo on a bicycle or e-bike. You will cross the wide, sandy beaches of the northern area, rich in equipped beaches, enter the heart of the city of Pescara via the characteristic bridge over the sea, and travel along a coastline that gradually becomes wild and unspoiled, with increasingly narrow, small, pebble beaches. Catch your breath with a relaxing day at the beach and then set off again: before your eyes you will see the characteristic trabocchi, dense vegetation and rocks plunging into the sea as you cycle through the region's numerous nature reserves. All this is just a taste of a landscape not to be missed, with sea and nature for all tastes and the longest cycle path in Italy in a sustainable Abruzzo waiting to be discovered.
