DISCOUNT on the July 20 departure

A week of open sea and secluded coves where the anchor drops silently: this skippered sailing vacation departs from Salivoli, in Tuscany, and follows a route connectingCapraia Island to Northern Corsica. You’ll sail through the Pelagos Cetacean Sanctuary, where it’s not uncommon to spot stenellas and dolphins; swim in the crystal-clear waters of Cala Rossa and the bays of Capo Corso; dine on the catch of the day; and sleep at anchor under a sky free of artificial light. Capraia offers its volcanic landscape and the protection afforded by the Tuscan Archipelago National Park; Corsica adds lighthouses, Genoese towers, bays accessible only by sea, and the rugged character of Cap Corse.
This vacation is a priceless experience for those who love sailing and feeling the energy of the wind filling the sails: the perfect trip for those seeking an authentic sea, a slow pace, and the camaraderie of a small group. A week to reconnect with the water, the wind, and the joy of discovering places few ever reach.
WHERE ARE WE GOING?
Program
First day
We set sail from Salivoli and begin our journey toward the island of Capraia. The crossing takes about 6–7 hours and takes us across a stretch of open sea where sailing immediately becomes part of the journey: wind, course, light shifts, and first maneuvers for those who want to participate. We’re in the Pelagos Sanctuary, a marine area dedicated to the protection of cetaceans: with a little luck, we may spot stenellas or dolphins. Arrival in Capraia and first night at anchor or in port, depending on weather and sea conditions.
Second day
Capraia Islandby Sailboat: Cala Rossa and the Tuscan Archipelago
We’ll spend the day exploringCapraia Island, choosing pristine coves for fantastic swims, such as the spectacular Cala Rossa. For dinner, we can choose a traditional Tuscan restaurant or enjoy a peaceful night at anchor.
Third day
Crossing to Cap Corse
The crossing to Corsica gives us the chance to delve deeper into life on a boat: halyards, sheets, and the mainsail will hold no more secrets! Those looking to relax can lounge in the sun or try to spot dolphins in the Cetacean Sanctuary. We’ll drop anchor near Cap Corse or the beaches of Macinaggio and Barcaggio for a refreshing dip.
Fourth day
Lighthouses, Towers, and Giraglia
Our sailboat takes us to northern Corsica, where we’ll be enchanted by the surrounding landscape: lighthouses, towersoverlooking the sea, and the stunning island of Giraglia. Weather permitting, we’ll be able to moor in the port of Centuri or hike the Customs Officers’ Trail.
Fifth day
Corsica by Sailboat: Saleccia, Lotu, and the Désert des Agriates
A relaxing day among Corsica’s most beautiful beaches, such as Saleccia and Mortella, or the Désert des Agriates. In the afternoon, we’ll reverse course and, with the sun at our backs, sail in search of a beautiful bay where we can spend the night.
Sixth day
Sailing back from Corsica to Capraia
It’s time to leave France and let the wind carry us toward the islands of Tuscany. The sea breeze filling the sails, the seagulls keeping us company, and our dolphin friends swimming alongside us will make the crossing a truly memorable experience. Our last night at anchor.
Seventh day
One last sail, and then it’s back to Salivoli: our sailing vacation between Corsica and Capraia ends here, with our skin still salty and a longing to return.
