WHERE ARE WE GOING?
Program
Sunday
Arrival at Puerto del Rosario, capital of Fuerteventura, and transfer to Corralejo. The afternoon is free to start exploring the island or, for those who wish, there is the option of renting a bicycle and riding to the spectacular dunes of Corralejo, one of the most iconic landscapes of the Canary Islands. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Monday
After breakfast, we take a short walk to the rental shop and pick up our bikes. We set off on a picturesque e-bike excursion among the volcanoes of Fuerteventura, a fun and sustainable way to learn about the history and landscapes of the island.
Cycling along the coast, we admire the crystal-clear colors of the ocean and reach one of the last fishing villages in the north. Free time in the afternoon and dinner on your own.
Tuesday
We walk to the port and after a short crossing we arrive Lobos Island, an unspoiled islet located between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura part of the Fuerteventura Biosphere Reserve. Just 5 square kilometers of natural treasure, where no one lives permanently, so its nature is truly unspoiled. Here we can admire a rich marine biodiversity, explore the Punta Martiño lighthouse and relax in the tranquility of an unspoiled place. Here we can go on an easy, independent hike of about an hour and a half to circumnavigate the island and climb the volcano's crater.
The rest of the day is dedicated to relaxing on the beautiful beaches and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. We return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner on your own.
Wednesday
The day begins with a two-hour group surfing lesson with an Italian instructor. Practicing surfing in the Canary Islands is an experience not to be missed! After a brief theoretical introduction on the beach, focusing on sea conditions, safety, and basic techniques, you will enter the water to learn how to paddle, catch waves, and maintain your balance on the board. The instructors will follow each participant to improve their posture and technique, making the experience dynamic, fun, and accessible to everyone! While we are here, it is impossible to resist the call of the nearby Island of Lanzarote, a volcanic pearl with a unique atmosphere. In the afternoon, we walk to the nearby port and take the ferry from Corralejo to Playa Blanca and arrive in this extraordinary world. Transfer to the hotel, relax, and then choose a restaurant for dinner on your own.
Thursday
After breakfast, free morning to explore Lanzarote. In the early afternoon, transfer to the port to board a luxury catamaran bound for the beautiful Papagayo beach. During the trip, a delicious fresh paella and an open bar with beer, sangria, water, and soft drinks will be available.
Free time to swim, relax, or enjoy activities such as kayaking. Return to the port around 7:00 p.m. and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and evening at leisure.
Friday
A day dedicated to discovering the wonders of Lanzarote. The tour includes some of the island's most spectacular attractions: the Timanfaya National Park, the evocative Jameos del Agua, the Cueva de los Verdes and the views of the cliffs overlooking the island of La Graciosa. During the day, we will also cross the Valley of 10,000 Palms, the wine-growing area of La Geria and the spectacular Green Lagoon. The guides will recount the history of the island and the work of artist César Manrique, who left a unique mark on the architecture and landscape of Lanzarote.
Saturday
Our vacation in the Canary Islands is coming to an end, but the memories of this experience will remain with us. For those who can extend their stay, the possibilities are endless: further exploring the beauty of Lanzarote, relax on new beaches, or enjoy adventures at sea. These islands have truly stolen our hearts: saying goodbye is not farewell, but see you soon. See you soon, Canary Islands!
Arrival in Fuerteventura and return from Lanzarote. JONAS TIP! Flights to/from Fuerteventura/Lanzarote can be expensive at certain times of the year, especially if you only consider direct flights. We therefore suggest you also consider alternative solutions, such as flights with stopovers, which often allow you to find more attractive fares and, at the same time, enrich your trip. If you wish, we can give you information and advice on how to organize your arrival or departure with a stopover in mainland Spain, turning your journey into an extra little experience. In these cases, we can take care of booking a hotel for an additional night, for example in cities such as Seville, Valencia, Alicante, Madrid, Barcelona, or Malaga. This is a smart way to avoid limiting yourself to direct flights, keep costs down, and make your trip even more enriching, without stress and with maximum freedom in choosing your flights.
