When autumn and winter arrive in Europe, the Canary Islands remain one of the best places to continue enjoying the outdoors. This Jonas trip between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote combines some of the most iconic experiences of the archipelago: riding an e-bike among volcanoes, walking in the wild natureof Lobos Island, learning to surf on the Atlantic, sailing on a catamaran to Papagayo Beach, and discovering the lunar landscapes of Lanzarote, shaped by the art of César Manrique. In Fuerteventura, we explore the north among dunes, fishing villages, and Caribbean-colored seas. Then we move on to Lanzarote, where volcanoes, lava vineyards, and spectacular views tell the story of an island that is unique in the world. A dynamic and varied trip, designed for those who love to alternate outdoor activities, sea, and culture, experiencing the Canary Islands with the perfect balance between movement and relaxation.
WHERE ARE WE GOING?
Program
Sunday
Arrival at Puerto del Rosario airport, capital of Fuerteventura, and transfer to Corralejo. The afternoon is free to start exploring the island or, for those who wish, there is the option of renting a bicycle and visiting the spectacular dunes of Corralejo, one of the most iconic landscapes of the Canary Islands. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Monday
After breakfast, we take a short walk to the rental shop and pick up our bikes. We set off on an exciting e-bike excursion among the volcanoes of Fuerteventura, a fun and sustainable way to learn about the history and landscapes of the island.
Cycling along the coast, we admire the crystal-clear colors of the ocean and reach one of the last fishing villages in the north. Free time in the afternoon and dinner on your own.
Tuesday
We’ll walk to the port, and after a short boat ride, we’ll arrive at Lobos Island, a pristine islet located between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, part of the Fuerteventura Biosphere Reserve. This natural treasure spans just about 5 square kilometers; since no one lives there permanently, its natural environment is truly unspoiled. Here, we’ll be able to admire a rich marine biodiversity, explore the Punta Martiño lighthouse, and relax in the tranquility of this pristine setting. We’ll also take an easy, self-guided hike of about an hour and a half to circle the island and climb up to the volcano’s crater.
The rest of the day is devoted to relaxing on the beautiful beaches and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters. We’ll return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner on your own.
Wednesday
The day begins with a two-hour group surfing lesson led by an Italian instructor. Surfing in the Canary Islands is an experience you won’t want to miss! After a brief theoretical introduction on the beach—covering sea conditions, safety, and basic techniques—you’ll head into the water to learn how to paddle, catch waves, and maintain your balance on the board. The instructors will work with each participant to improve their posture and technique, making the experience dynamic, fun, and accessible to everyone! Since we’re already here, it’s impossible to resist the allure of nearby Lanzarote, a volcanic gem with a unique atmosphere. In the afternoon, we’ll walk to the nearby port, take the ferry from Corralejo to Playa Blanca, and arrive in this extraordinary world. Transfer to the hotel, some relaxation, and then we’ll choose a little restaurant for dinner on your own.
Thursday
After breakfast, enjoy a free morning to explore Lanzarote. In the early afternoon, transfer to the port to board a luxurious catamaran bound for the beautiful Papagayo Beach. During the cruise, a delicious fresh paella will be served, and an open bar will be available with beer, sangria, water, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Free time to swim, relax, or enjoy activities such as kayaking. Return to the port around 7:00 p.m. and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and evening at your leisure.
Friday
A day dedicated to discovering the wonders of Lanzarote. The tour includes some of the island's most spectacular attractions: Timanfaya National Park, the evocative Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes, and views of the cliffs overlooking the island of La Graciosa. During the day, we will also pass through the Valley of 10,000 Palms, the wine-growing area of La Geria, and the spectacular Laguna Verde. The guides will recount the history of the island and the work of artist César Manrique, who left a unique mark on the architecture and landscape of Lanzarote.
Saturday
Our vacation in the Canary Islands is coming to an end, but the memories of this experience will stay with us forever. For those who can extend their stay, the possibilities are endless: further exploring the beauty of Lanzarote, relaxing on new beaches, or enjoying adventures at sea. These islands have truly stolen our hearts: saying goodbye is not farewell, but see you soon. See you soon, Canary Islands!

3-star hotel
3 nights in Corralejo/Fuerteventura and 3 nights in Lanzarote
Arrival in Fuerteventura and return from Lanzarote. JONAS' TIP! Flights to/from Fuerteventura/Lanzarote can be expensive at certain times of the year, especially if you only look at direct routes. We therefore suggest you also consider alternative solutions, such as flights with stopovers, which often allow you to find more attractive fares and, at the same time, enrich your trip. If you wish, we can give you information and advice on how to organize your arrival or departure with a stopover in mainland Spain, turning your journey into an extra little experience. In these cases, we can take care of booking a hotel for an additional night, for example in cities such as Seville, Valencia, Alicante, Madrid, Barcelona, or Malaga. This is a smart way to avoid limiting yourself to direct flights, keep costs down, and make your trip even more enriching, without stress and with maximum freedom in choosing your flights.
