A cycling trip to Lyon, one of Europe’s most surprising cities for cycling enthusiasts. Following the bike paths along the Rhône and Saône rivers, we discover a city that is both dynamic and laid-back, where nature and architecture coexist in harmony. We alternate days of cycling on completely flat and safe routes with moments of exploration on foot, through the narrow streets of Vieux Lyon, the squares of the Presqu’île, and the panoramic views from Fourvière Hill. We cycle along iconic routes like the ViaRhôna and reach natural spaces such as the Grand Parc de Miribel-Jonage, surrounded by water and greenery. It’s a vacation in France designed for those who want to get around in a light and accessible way, with time to stop, observe, and experience the city at the right pace. An ideal trip for those seeking an easy bike ride, a lively city, and the pleasure of discovery through cycling.
