WHERE ARE WE GOING?
Program
First day
We arrive in Lyon and, after checking into the hotel, we take our first stroll to soak up the atmosphere of this French city. We walk through the historic district of Vieux Lyon, through medieval alleyways, traboules, and the Saint-Jean Cathedral, and take the funicular up to Fourvière Hill to admire the city from above and stroll through the Presqu’île between Place Bellecour and Place des Terreaux. We’re keeping the day deliberately low-key—perfect for getting our bearings.
Second day
First day on the bike—the perfect way to start off at a leisurely pace. We cycle along the Rhône bike paths, starting from the Berges du Rhône, gradually leaving the city behind until we reach the vast green space of the Grand Parc de Miribel-Jonage. Here we circle around Lake des Eaux Bleues, surrounded by water, nature, and open spaces, before returning to Lyon along the Jonage Canal. Free evening.

One last stroll along the banks of the Rhône, then we’ll head back to Italy, depending on our flight schedules. Au revoir!
