In the afternoon, the horizon will reveal the unmistakable silhouette of the archipelago. We’ll moorat the island of San Domino, ready for our first, unforgettable dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic. The evening will conclude with a relaxing dinner on board, lulled by the sea.
Second day
The Secrets of San Domino
The day is entirely dedicated to exploring San Domino, the greenest island in the archipelago, covered in a lush forest of Aleppo pines. We’ll sail slowly to drop anchor in the most picturesque coves, such as the famous Cala Matano or the tranquil Cala degli Inglesi. Here, snorkeling is a must-do activity to admire the Marine Reserve’s seabed teeming with marine life. In the afternoon, those who wish can go ashore for a refreshing walk in the shade of the pines, breathing in the scents of the Mediterranean scrub. We’ll spend the night once again safely in the buoy field, under a pristine sky.
Third day
Between History and Crystal-Clear Waters
Today, our sailing itinerary takes us to explore the historic and untamed heart of the Tremiti Islands. We’ll sail between the islands of San Nicola, Capraia, and the small islet of Cretaccio. At San Nicola, we’ll have the chance to go ashore for an optional visit to the fortified village. Walking among the ancient walls, we can admire the Castello dei Badialiand the majestic Abbey of Santa Maria a Mare, an architectural masterpiece overlooking the Adriatic. After this dive into history, lunch awaits us at anchor in waters so clear they seem to float in mid-air. In the evening, we’ll return to San Domino for the night.
Fourth day
The Hidden Charm of the Sea Caves
The Tremiti Islands hold treasures accessible only by sea, and today we’ll set out to discover them. We’ll explore the spectacular sea caves that dot the rugged coastline. We’ll admire the shimmering reflections of the Grotta delle Viole and venture into the imposing Grotta del Bue Marino, once a refuge for monk seals. We’ll stop at secluded coves, far from the busiest routes, where your free time will be dedicated to total relaxation, long swims, or reading on deck. Depending on weather conditions and wind direction, the skipper will choose the best route to treat us to unforgettable scenic sailings around the archipelago. It will be the perfect opportunity for those who want to try their hand at the helm or simply enjoy the silence broken only by the sound of the hull gliding through the water.
