WHERE ARE WE GOING?
Program
First day
Ready, set, Egadi!
Welcome aboard! We’ll meet you in the morning to stock the galley and get ready to set sail at 1:00 PM toward the Egadi Islands. Our first stop is Favignana, the island of turquoise waters and breathtaking views. After a couple of hours of sailing, we’ll arrive in this paradise: are you ready for your first dip? Cala Rossa, with its striking color contrasts, and the picturesque Bue Marino beach are must-see stops. The day ends with dinner at anchor, immersed in the tranquility of the harbor. Tonight we’ll sleep lulled by the waves in one of Favignana’s most beautiful bays. A perfect start to a vacation filled with relaxation, adventure, and Mediterranean magic!
Second day
The island of Levanzo
This morning we’re heading to Levanzo, the smallest of the Egadi Islands. We’ll arrive at the port, our first stop: a visit to the Grotta del Genovese, an important testament to Sicily’s prehistory. We’ll then cruise along its western side, characterized by a rocky coastline—the perfect opportunity to do some snorkeling and admire the underwater ecosystem. We’ll pass by the Capogrosso Lighthouse to reach Cala Minnola Bay. We can swim to its beach, which is characterized by a unique pine forest. After some relaxation on land, we’ll return on board for dinner at anchor and spend the night at anchor.
Third day
The Island of Marettimo
This morning we’ll set sail for Marettimo, the wildest and most authentic of the Egadi Islands, characterized by unspoiled nature and a timeless atmosphere. We’ll anchor near Punta Troia, where a refreshing swim awaits us in its crystal-clear waters, framed by breathtaking cliffs. Adventure seekers can disembark and hike the trail leading to the Castle of Punta Troia, an ancient fortress perched high with spectacular views of the island and the open sea. We’ll spend the evening at anchor, enveloped by the silence and beauty of the island night.
Fourth day
From Marettimo to Favignana
We’re in Marettimo, an ideal destination for eco-friendly tourism. Let’s dive into exploring some of the 300 caves accessible only by sea. In the afternoon, we’ll head to Favignana, the island that blends tradition with vibrancy. Once we arrive in town, we can stroll through its charming narrow streets lined with artisanal shops and traditional local eateries. A must-see is the historic Tonnara Florio, where the story of the Florio family comes to life—a story also told in the book and TV series "Leoni di Sicilia." The day will conclude with an overnight stay in the harbor and dinner at a local restaurant.
Fifth day
The island of Favignana
If you’ve never experienced the thrill of an early morning swim, this is the perfect opportunity to start your day! Carried by the sea breeze, we continue our exploration of Favignana, sailing along the island’s western coast to the stunning beach of Lido Burrone. Here we drop anchor to relax, admire the scenery, and soak up the sun, lounging on the bow of our elegant sailing yacht. In the afternoon, we continue south to Cala Azzurra, where the crystal-clear water looks like something out of a postcard. Dinner on board and a magical night at anchor, lulled by the sea.
Sixth day
Return to Marsala
This morning, let’s explore the southern coast of Favignana, letting ourselves be captivated by the sea and the hidden coves that make this island a true Mediterranean paradise before bidding farewell to the Egadi Islands. In the late afternoon, we’ll return to the port of Marsala, where we’ll have time for a stroll through the narrow streets of the historic center, rich in culture and authentic flavors. For our final dinner, we suggest choosing a small, traditional restaurant just a short walk from the marina, perhaps savoring traditional dishes such as seafood couscous, caponata, or a selection of arancine.
Seventh day
Disembarkation
We have reached the end of this sailing vacation, an experience that has allowed us to discover the authentic heart of the Egadi Islands, amid crystal-clear waters, enchanting caves, and breathtaking sunsets. After one last breakfast on board, we’ll have time for one final look at the sparkling sea and the memories we’ve created together. Disembarkation is scheduled by noon, but we’ll take with us the unique flavor of Sicily, the scents of the Mediterranean Sea, and the magic of a vacation that feels like freedom. Thank you for sharing this adventure with us—we look forward to seeing you for our next unforgettable experience at sea!
