Boarding is convenient from Nettuno, with no need for ferries or flights, and a pleasant sail will take you to this paradise. Once there, you can explore hidden coves, spectacular caves, and seabeds teeming with marine life—ideal for snorkeling. An experience that will let you enjoy the sea in harmony with the environment, sailing through turquoise waters and breathtaking landscapes.

Program
First day
Boarding and Setting Sail for the Pontine Islands
Boarding at the port of Nettuno is convenient and easily accessible by both train and car. For those who did not opt for the extra night upon arrival, we’ll meet by noon so you can get to know the crew and your new travel companions. Before setting sail, we’ll stock the galley together—a perfect moment of sharing to get into the spirit of the sailing vacation. Thanks to the skipper’s advice, organizing it will be simple and fun. Once ready, we’ll cast off for our first sail toward the Pontine Islands. In the evening, after a dip at sunset, we’ll enjoy dinner on board, rocked by the waves under a starry sky.
Second day
The Island of Palmarola
Today we set sail to explore one of the most fascinating islands in the archipelago: Palmarola, a true unspoiled natural paradise. We’ll spend the day sailing around the island, stopping for a refreshing swim in its most picturesque coves, such as Cala del Francese and Punta Tramontana. Here , the towering rock walls sculpted by the wind and sea offer the unique spectacle of the famous “Cathedrals, ” majestic natural sculptures that will leave us breathless. After an exciting passage through the caves of the Faraglioni di Mezzogiorno, in the evening we hoist the sails toward Ponza: a beautiful sunset sail and a magical night at anchor in front of the scenic Chiaia di Luna beach await us .
Third day
Ponza and Arrival in Ventotene
The island of Ponza is ready to surprise us with the beauty of its Natural Arch and the picturesque Cala del Core, a place steeped in legends and turquoise waters. We’ll explore the eastern side of the island, stopping at enchanting coves perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing on board. In the afternoon, we’ll hoist the sails and, taking advantage of a favorable breeze, practice some basic maneuvers: tacking, trimming, and steering, guided by our experienced skipper. Our voyage will take us to Ventotene, where we’ll make a spectacular entranceinto the ancient Roman harbor, entirely carved out of tuff. In the evening, for those who wish, we can dine ashore at a traditional restaurant that will welcome us with excellent fresh seafood and a breathtaking view of the sea at sunset.

Fourth day
Ventotene and Back to Ponza
Ventotene is a small island rich in history and charm: in addition to its ancient Roman harbor, it is famous for the archaeological remains of Villa Giulia, the sumptuous residence built by Emperor Augustus for his daughter’s exile, and for the imposing Roman cisterns, a testament to the ingenuity of the era. After a stroll through the quiet streets of the town center and perhaps a final coffee with a sea view, we set sail and begin the crossing back to Ponza. Along the way, we’ll make a stop for a refreshing dip in one of the most secluded coves, perfect for swimming and relaxing in the midst of nature.

Fifth day
’s Faraglioni and Natural Pools
Today we’ll explore some of Ponza’s most picturesque spots: we’ll start with the majestic Faraglioni di Lucia Rosa, imposing cliffs rising steeply from the sea that owe their name to a poignant island legend. After admiring this natural spectacle, we’ll head to Cala Feola, one of the island’s most beautiful spots. Here we’ll treat ourselves to a relaxing swim in the famous natural pools of volcanic origin, with clear, warm water perfect for rejuvenation. In the afternoon, there will be some free time to enjoy the final views or take a stroll on land.
Sixth day
Chiaia di Luna and Return to
In the sunlight, we set sail once more toward one of the iconic destinations of this sailing vacation in the Pontine Islands: the stunning Chiaia di Luna, with its towering white tuff cliffs plunging into the sea and crystal-clear waters shimmering with emerald hues. Here , we’ll also have the chance to explore the mysterious Circe Caves, amid legends and spectacular views. On board, the slow rhythm of the sailboat continues to offer authentic thrills, amid wind and waves, as we enjoy the voyage that gradually brings us back to Nettuno. A dinner under the stars will be the perfect way to bid farewell to this unforgettable adventure among the islands.
Seventh day
Disembarkation
In the morning, we arrive in Nettuno, have breakfast together on board, and take one last group photo. This sailing vacation comes to an end at a leisurely pace, surrounded by the sea.
Transportation to the embarkation point, local tourist tax (where applicable), and any other costs not listed under “Included.” Please note that provisions, marina fees, and fuel are not included, as these depend on the group’s arrangements and are managed on-site through a shared fund; they typically amount to approximately €35–45 per person per day.
Nettuno or nearby ports - RM. You will be aboard a 12.5-meter sailboat with 3 double cabins and 2 bathrooms on board. Capacity: 6 people.
Take the train to Roma Termini, then a regional train to Nettuno.
Fly into Fiumicino or Ciampino Airport, then take the shuttle bus to Termini Station, and from there take a regional train to Nettuno.
On-site parking is usually available at the port for about €20 per day; otherwise, there are free parking spots in the area, though they are a bit further from the port.
