First day
Welcome to Lipari and sunset over Vulcano
Our trip to the Aeolian Islands begins in Lipari, beneath the imposing ancient castle. After stocking up on provisions (our captain selects the fresh fish), we board the comfortable and spacious catamaran and set sail at 1 p.m.! The first stop is a dip in front of the famous pumice quarries. During lunch, we will get to know each other and discuss the program. In the afternoon we will sail towards Vulcano. Here, those who wish can take anexcursion to the Gran Cratereto enjoy a spectacular sunset with a view of the entire archipelago. The day ends with a delicious dinner on board, lulled by the sea in the harbor.
Second day
Vulcano and Panarea: exclusive charm
Today we will complete the tour of Vulcano, with a stop at the picturesque lighthouse on Gelso beach, famous for its black beaches and peaceful atmosphere. After lunch on board, we will head towards Panarea, the most chic of the Aeolian Islands. We will anchor near the terrace of the iconic Hotel Raja for an sunset aperitif with breathtaking views, or near Cala Junco, where we can visit the prehistoric village. For those who love walking, it will be possible to take a stroll to the picturesque town center. We will end the evening with dinner on board, immersed in the silence and beauty of the harbor.
Third day
Panarea and Stromboli, between islets and volcanoes
The day begins with an exploration of the small archipelago around Panarea: Lisca Bianca, Lisca Nera, Bottaro, Spinazzolo, and Basiluzzo. Here, we will anchor for an unforgettable swim or snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. After lunch, we will set sail for Stromboli, the most surprising island in the Aeolian archipelago. With its active volcano, nicknamed Iddu by the locals, black beaches, and deep blue sea, Stromboli will provide unforgettable emotions. The evening will be special: a walk through the picturesque village and dinner under the stars with a view of the Sciara del Fuoco, the beating heart of this unique island.
Fourth day
From Stromboli to Salina, surrounded by nature and relaxation
After breakfast at anchor in front of Stromboli , we will set off for the first stop: the nearby islet of Strombolicchio, where we will stop for a swim and snorkeling, exploring its rocky walls rich in caves and marine fauna. We continue sailing towards Salina, the greenest and most lush island in the archipelago. Once there, we will stop at Santa Marina, perfect for a stroll along the lively main street, among small shops and typical bars where you can taste Sicilian specialties. The day ends with dinner on board, immersed in the tranquility of the harbor.
Fifth day
Granita and nature from Salina to Filicudi
This morning's unmissable stop at Alfredo in Lingua to taste his famous granita with brioche or the traditional pane cunzato. We then set sail for Pollara, a spectacular cove with cliffs overlooking the sea, made famous by the film Il Postino. In the afternoon, we sail towards Filicudi, the island of unspoiled nature and absolute silence. Here, the Captain confesses that he wants to drop anchor forever. We can go ashore for an aperitif at the Saloon di Pecorini a Mare, a picturesque fishing village. We conclude with dinner on board in the harbor, surrounded by the peace of the island.
Sixth day
Discovering La Canna and returning to Lipari
After breakfast on board, we set sail for one of the natural wonders of theIsland of Filicudi: La Canna, a majestic 70-meter-high columnar rock, symbol of the island. After lunch, we return to Lipari with a stop for a dip at the picturesque Porta dei Giganti, the perfect place to say goodbye to the Aeolian Sea. In the afternoon, once moored in the port of Lipari, we will have plenty of time to explore the lively historic center, famous for its Aeolian craft shops and typical restaurants where you can enjoy Sicilian cuisine. In the evening, dinner on board or in one of the island's restaurants.
Seventh day
Disembarkation
We have come to the end of this journey through the natural wonders of the Aeolian Islands, a paradise where the crystal clear sea and tranquility of the places will remain in your heart. We explored the volcanic coast, swam in turquoise waters, savored the flavors of Sicilian cuisine, and experienced the warm welcome of the local inhabitants. This trip to the Aeolian Islands, with its unique experiences and spectacular landscapes, will remain etched in your memory as one of the best summer trips in Italy in 2025. By plane: flights to Catania, Naples, Reggio Calabria, and Palermo. We recommend flying into Catania and continuing to Milazzo by bus.
By ferry and/or fast hydrofoil: daily departures from Milazzo, Naples, Messina, Reggio Calabria, and Palermo.
By train: the closest station to the Aeolian Islands is Milazzo.
The exact boarding point is located at the first pier to the right of the hydrofoil dock, just a few meters away on foot. It is called Pontile La Buona Fonda. After booking, we will provide you with details on how to get there easily.
