A weekend exploring the surroundings of Riva del Garda. Riva del Garda, with its combination of Alpine and Mediterranean charm, is the ideal starting point for discovering the authentic beauty of Trentino. But it's not just Lake Garda: from here, it's easy to reach other smaller lakes, which dot the landscape like brushstrokes of blue: the picturesque Lake Tenno, with its spectacular turquoise color, and Lake Ledro, surrounded by woods and history. In short, every season is perfect for a weekend at Lake Garda: its placid waters play with the sun's rays and everything is dressed in new colors.

Program
First day
Welcome to Riva del Garda and th
.
Arrival in the late afternoon, check-in at the hotel before going out for dinner. Our guide will explain the program for the next few days. Walk among the lights and scents of the picturesque center of Riva del Garda.
Second day
The Busatte–Tempesta and Arco trail
Walking along the beach and crossing the long pedestrian bridge over the Sarca River, we arrive in Torbole and take a short break. After passing through the small historic center, we admire the house where Goethe spent a night in the late 1700s, before heading towards the hill. On a scenic road with views of the lake and Mount Brione, we arrive at Parco delle Busatte. A path overlooking the lake, the famous Busatte-Tempesta trail, takes us through woods and breathtaking views to the village of Tempesta, which once marked the border between the Kingdom of Italy and the Austrian Empire. Along the way, we descend the famous 400 panoramic iron steps suspended from the rock face. Once in Tempesta, the bus will take us back to Riva del Garda in 15 minutes. Here we can rest before moving on to Arco di Trento! There is the option of extending the visit to Arco Castle.
Third day
Lake Ledro and Ponale Road
Heading for Lake Ledro! We walk along a section of the Ponale Road, which reopened in 2004 for pedestrians and cyclists only. We take the old path and, halfway along, enjoy a well-deserved coffee break in Prè di Ledro, a village famous for the fact that the sun does not shine here for 86 days every year (from November 11 to February 5). After passing the villages of Ledro and Molina di Ledro, we reach our destination: this alpine lake is 650 m above sea level, has incredible colors, and is famous for its pile dwellings. There is the option to visit the Pile Dwelling Museum before returning by bus to Riva del Garda. Here, we can take the new elevator up to the Venetian Bastion for an aperitif with a view!
Fourth day
Lake Tenno and medieval villages
Today's walk will take us to Lake Tenno. From the hotel, take the pedestrian road to Varrone, where a somewhat challenging trail begins, but which leads us through beautiful olive groves to Tenno Castle. Here we visit the medieval village of Frapporta, which is directly connected to the castle above, which could only be accessed from within the village. A short walk takes us to the Grom viewpoint, which offers a breathtaking view of Riva del Garda and the upper part of Lake Garda. We continue on our way to the shore of Lake Tenno, but first we must stop at the medieval village of Canale di Tenno, recently included among the most beautiful villages in Italy. We take the bus back to Riva del Garda. We collect our luggage and say goodbye at around 3 p.m., but those who can stay a few hours longer can visit the beautiful Varone Waterfall. We return to the hotel at around 5 p.m. See you next time!
