Program
First day
Arrival in the late afternoon at Riva del Garda, the heart of the Upper Garda area, and check into a hotel overlooking Lake Garda. Meet with the tour guide before dinner for an introductory briefing. The week takes shape with scenic hikes and bike rides. We will admire the turquoise waters of Lake Tenno, the charm of Lake Ledro , and the magic of Lake Toblino, as well as historic villages and castles steeped in history. An active and relaxing journey through nature, sport, and the unique landscapes of Lake Garda.
Second day
Tenno and turquoise waters
From Riva del Garda we walk towards Varone, where a somewhat challenging trail begins, but which leads us through olive groves to Tenno Castle. We cross the medieval village of Frapporta and reach the viewpoint of Grom with a view of Upper Garda. Visit to Tenno Canal, one of Italy's most beautiful villages, followed by a scenic trail to Lake Tenno , famous for its alpine colors. A bus will take us to the Varone Waterfall, a magical and exciting place. We will return to Riva del Garda by bus. Free afternoon, we will meet up for dinner!
Third day
Busatte and balconies overlooking the lake
Panoramic walk along the lakefront from Riva del Garda to Torbole, with a visit to the historic center and Goethe's house. From here, we climb up to the Busatte Park and tackle the famous Busatte-Tempesta Trail: a spectacular route overlooking Lake Garda, through woods, panoramic views, and the famous 400-step suspended iron walkway. From here, the bus will take us back to the hotel in 10 minutes. In the afternoon, for those who want to continue exploring, the guide suggests aferry trip on Lake Garda to the village of Limone sul Garda, famous for its suspended cycle and pedestrian path. Dinner at the hotel.
Fourth day
Cycling along the Sarca
Today we're cycling! You can choose between a regular bike or an e-bike. From Riva del Garda, we follow the Sarca River cycle path. We cross Arco with its castle, the Fies power station, a site of industrial archaeology, and the spectacular Marocche di Dro. Arrival at the picturesque Lake Toblino, stop at the castle café and toast at the Bike & Wine Bar in Dro, surrounded by vineyards. An easy return journey on a slight downhill slope and we're back in Riva!
Fifth day
Ponale and Lake Ledro
Direction Lake Ledro! We walk along the Ponale Road, reopened in 2004 for pedestrians and bikes only, and continue along the old path towards the Ledro Valley. Halfway along the route, we stop for lunch at Prè di Ledro and pass through the villages of Ledro and Molina. Arrival at Lake Ledro, an alpine lake 650 meters above sea level with incredible colors and famous for its pile dwellings. Time for an aperitif with a view of the lake and an optional visit to the Pile Dwelling Museum. Return by bus.
Sixth day
Departure by bus to Pregasina and climb up an easy forest trail to Punta Larici, at 907 meters, the most breathtaking viewpoint on Lake Garda. Descent towards Riva del Garda, with a stop at the Panorama restaurant and hotel to sample its generous home-style cuisine. After refreshments and passing the tall Regina Mundi statue, we enter the Ponale Trail. Once we reach Riva del Garda in the mid-afternoon, an aperitif with friends to say goodbye is a must. See you on our next vacation!

The Hotel Vittoria is located in Via dei Disciplini (historic center).
