WHERE ARE WE GOING?
Program
First day
From Marsala to Favignana: towards the Egadi Islands
Our journey begins with boarding at 10 a.m. in Marsala. After a brief briefing on navigation, we will devote ourselves to the galley. We will then set sail for Favignana, the largest of the Egadi Islands. In the afternoon, we will drop anchor in one of Favignana's beautiful bays, where we will have time to dive into the crystal clear waters. When the sun begins to set, we will prepare dinner on board, while the sky is tinged with warm, golden hues. We will dine surrounded by the magic of the bay, with the sea lit up under the stars and the gentle rocking of the boat. Night at anchor.
Second day
Circumnavigating Levanzo
Today we are heading towards Levanzo, the wildest of the Egadi Islands, where we will dive into the turquoise, crystal-clear waters and explore a marine ecosystem of Posidonia meadows, underwater caves, and schools of multicolored fish. After lunch, we will circumnavigate the island to discover its hidden corners, such as the Grotta del Genovese. At sunset, we will look for a bay to spend the night at anchor, immersed in the wild beauty of Levanzo. The starry sky and the sound of the sea will be the perfect backdrop for a relaxing evening of travel stories, the scent of salt air, and the pleasure of a shared dinner under the stars.
Third day
Arrival in San Vito: spices, music, and flavors
We hoist the sails to sail towards San Vito lo Capo, one of the most sought-after destinations in western Sicily. In the early afternoon, we will reach San Vito lo Capo, the beating heart of the Couscous Festival, an event that celebrates food tourism and cultural fusion through cuisine. The aromas of spices, Mediterranean colors, and live music will transform the seaside village into a large bazaar. Those who wish to do so can disembark to immerse themselves in the festival, strolling among the stands, tasting the endless variations of couscous, and watching cooking shows. The Couscous Festival is an experience to be enjoyed through gastronomic tastings, encounters, and the sounds of the Mediterranean.
Fourth day
The Zingaro Nature Reserve
This morning we will visit one of the most fascinating places in Sicily: the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Here, among cliffs and Mediterranean vegetation, we will have plenty of time to relax and dive into the crystal clear waters. In the afternoon, we will return to San Vito lo Capo, where the atmosphere of the Couscous Festival, the Festival of Cultural Integration will be even more vibrant. Whether you want to stroll through the white streets of the historic center, try a new version of couscous, or simply enjoy the sunset from the beach with live music in the background, this evening will be an unforgettable experience.
Fifth day
Sailing in the Gulf of Castellammare
Today begins with a sailing trip in the Gulf of Castellammare, where the coastline reveals itself in all its splendor among the wind-sculpted cliffs. In the afternoon, we will set sail for San Vito lo Capo, ready to immerse ourselves one last time in the overwhelming energy of the Couscous Festival. It will be the perfect opportunity to explore the festively lit alleys and let yourself be captivated by the fusion flavors. It will be an evening to enjoy without haste, surrounded by enveloping scents, music, and the atmosphere of one of the most anticipated events of the year. Then, on the last night on the boat, rocked by the sea or in port, we will say goodbye to this adventure with our hearts full of emotions.
Sixth day
Last miles with the Egadi Islands on the horizon
The day begins with a sail towards Marsala, leaving behind the liveliness of the Cous Cous Festival and enjoying the last few miles, rocked by the wind. It will be the perfect moment to savor the journey, perhaps lying on the bow under the sun or admiring the landscape with the Egadi Islands on the horizon. In the late afternoon, we will arrive at the port of Marsala. For our last dinner together, we recommend treating yourself to an authentic experience in a typical restaurant just a few steps from the marina, where you can indulge in the flavors of the region: a glass of Marsala wine, a plate of busiate, Mediterranean bluefin tuna , and almond sweets!
