Seychelles: trekking and sea in a sustainable paradise

First day

Departure from Italy from the chosen airport. Overnight stay on board, landing tomorrow morning, destination Mahé. Mahé, with the excitement of a new destination to discover. An authentic journey in the Seychelles, far from mass tourism. You will feel part of an exclusive experience that respects and enhances the extraordinary beauty of the Seychelles islands. Each island reveals a new treasure: rare birds, unspoiled landscapes, and local communities living in harmony with the environment. You will discover another side of the Seychelles, made up of exploration, silence, and wonder, on a journey that will make you feel like you are truly in paradise.

Second day

Welcome to the Seychelles
Arrival at the airport in Mahé. Private transfer from the terminal to the island's port for the ferry connection to Praslin. Mahé and Praslin are connected by the fast and comfortable Cat Cocos ferries, which run 2-3 times a day. The journey takes about an hour and 15 minutes.
Take the Cat Cocos ferry from Mahé to Praslin is a great way to enjoy spectacular views of the islands. You may see flying fish and even dolphins if you are lucky! The economy class return ticket is already included in the price: it can be replaced with the AirSeychelles domestic flight, with a supplement to be quantified based on flight availability. The flight takes about 15 minutes. Arrival in Praslin, transfer to the hotel, relaxation, and dinner.

Third day

The green heart of Praslin
After breakfast, accompanied by a local Italian-speaking guide, we immerse ourselves in the magic of the Vallée de Mai, a prehistoric forest protected by UNESCO and recognized as a World Heritage Site. This unique place is home to the Coco de Mer palm trees, whose seed is the largest in the plant kingdom and is the symbol of the Seychelles: they can weigh up to 20 kg! We will walk under majestic palm trees up to 40 meters tall and, with a little luck, we will be able to spot endemic species such as the black parrot, the smallest frog in the world, and the Seychelles Blue Pigeon. In the afternoon, we will move on to Anse Lazio, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Here you can relax, stroll along the white sand, or snorkel in its crystal clear waters. The day ends with a return to the hotel for dinner.

Fourth day

Trekking to Anse la Blague
During today's scenic trek, our local guide will tell us how the endemic animal species, long accustomed to the solitude of these islands, coexist peacefully with humans, making the experience even more fascinating. We will walk along paths surrounded by greenery and breathtaking views until we reach our well-deserved reward: Anse la Blague, an idyllic beach with white sand and turquoise waters. Here, nestled between the green palm trees and the blue sea, we can enjoy moments of pure relaxation, alternating between refreshing swims and walks along the shore. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Fifth day

Curieuse Marine Park
Get ready for an unforgettable day: Boat Trip to discover the Curieuse Marine Park, a natural gem of the Seychelles. This unique island is home to hundreds of tortoises, or giant turtles, which live freely and undisturbed: you can encounter them along the trails and visit the nursery center, where rangers monitor and protect the young specimens. The emerald waters invite you to take a refreshing swim before enjoying a delicious barbecue of meat or fish right on the beach. For the more curious, the island offers a marked trail through a picturesque mangrove forest, home to various species of crabs and local wildlife. In the afternoon, we move on to the legendary islet of St. Pierre for a final snorkeling session among crystal clear waters and a colorful coral reef. This exciting day of nature, sea, and relaxation ends with our return to Praslin and dinner at the hotel.

Sixth day

La Digue by bike
Today we set off by catamaran to reach La Digue, one of the most authentic islands in the Seychelles, just a 20-minute boat ride away. This enchanted island is famous for being explored exclusively on foot or by bike, offering a unique experience of tranquility and connection with nature. After arriving at the picturesque port of La Passe, we rent bikes and, with our guide, immerse ourselves in the timeless atmosphere ofUnion Estate Park, a National Heritage Site. Here we can watch the traditional processing of copra, coconut oil, still produced today using centuries-old techniques, and walk through a fragrant vanilla plantation. The final destination is Anse Source d'Argent, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, famous for its majestic granite boulders emerging from the crystal-clear waters, creating a picture-postcard landscape. After enjoying this heavenly atmosphere, we return to Praslin by catamaran before dinner.

Seventh day

Return to Mahé
Afternoon transfer from the hotel to the port for the ferry connecting Praslin to Mahé. Again, it is possible to replace the ferry ticket with a domestic flight ticket, with a corresponding supplement. However, we recommend the experience of sailing to enjoy the Seychelles islands in their essence: the sea. Transfer from the port to the guesthouse in Mahé and time to relax before dinner. You can walk (about 20 minutes) to the famous Beau Vallon beach.

Eighth day

Freedom in Mahé
Free day. We can spend it discovering the small but great Mahé, the largest island in the Seychelles archipelago, which is also home to the smallest capital city in the world, Victoria. You can book a full-day tour in a comfortable minivan with a dedicated driver, or simply relax in the sun. The trek to Anse Mayor beach, starting on foot from the hotel (about 2 hours round trip with a 200-meter elevation gain, with the option of returning by taxi boat), is also very interesting. Dinner at the hotel.

Ninth day

Greetings from paradise
We are at the end of this dream vacation among the wonders of the Seychelles, where every day has given us unique emotions, among enchanted beaches, unspoiled nature, and unforgettable encounters with giant tortoises and breathtaking views. Transfer from the hotel to the airport for the return flight. We bid farewell to this paradise with the promise to return soon, taking with us indelible memories of a land that has made us dream. Bye bye, Seychelles! Overnight flight.
