Program
First day
Boarding and our first dip in Malta
We land and within minutes we’re already at the dock: this is how our sailing vacation in Malta. After boarding in the morning at Marina Birgu , we stock the galley, meet the crew, and attend the briefing that sets the tone for the week. Then we really set off: we cast off and head to St. Thomas Bay, the perfect spot for our first swim and to get comfortable with the Maltese sea. Between relaxing on deck, a shared dinner on board, and an aperitif at sunset, thesummer of 2026 gets off to the right start. St. Thomas Bay is known as a great spot for swimming and snorkeling, and Malta continues to be officially promoted as a top destination for beach and sailing vacations.
Second day
Heading to Comino
We sail along the southern coast of Malta between St. Peter’s Pool and the Hofra Bays, with plenty of time to relax on deck, take a swim, or get a closer look at the boat by lending a hand to the skipper. Then we sail up the coast and pass by Blue Grotto, one of the iconic landmarks of the Maltese sea. We pass between Gnejna Bay, Għajn Tuffieħa, Golden Bay and Popeye Village, while theisland of Comino. The route takes us toward the Blue Lagoon: crystal-clear water, snorkeling, bright sunshine, and that distinct feeling of truly being on vacation. In the evening, we gather in the cockpit, under the stars.
Third day
Crystal Lagoon and the Gozo Coast
After breakfast, we enjoy a morning in the crystal-clear waters of the Crystal Lagoon, one of Comino’s most beautiful spots to experience by boat, with snorkeling, diving, and leisurely stops in the bay. Then we set sail again toward Gozo, heading for the spectacular area of Dwejra Bay: cliffs, rocks sculpted by the sea, and a dramatic landscape unlike anywhere else in the archipelago. It’s a day that feels like summer: the sea at its best, sunlight, nature, and time to enjoy each other’s company. We cap off this fantastic day with a dinner of fresh peaches at a local restaurant.
Fourth day
The island of Gozo
Wake up in Dwejra Bay, in one of most picturesque spots on Gozo. We take the time to enjoy the boat: some relax at the bow, others get involved in the sailing and learn a little more from our skipper. Then we continue sailing along an island whose rhythm and landscape shift: greener, quieter, more authentic. This is the Gozo of bays, of bright sunlight, and of ancient tales, such as the one linking it to the nymph Calypso, who held Ulysses captive right here on this island. And when evening falls, we go ashore for an aperitif with a view of the sea.
Fifth day
Ramla Bay and Northern Gozo
We sail around the north of Gozo until we reach Ramla Bay, the island’s famous red-sand beach, one of the archipelago’s most iconic spots. Here we take our time: lunch on board, swimming, relaxation, and crystal-clear waters all around. At certain times during the summer, this area can also become a nesting and hatching ground for sea turtles—a small spectacle of nature. In the afternoon, we head to a more secluded cove on the north coast, perfect for snorkeling, with clear waters and vibrant colors, to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace. Evening on board.
Sixth day
Returning to Malta: Bays and History
We set course for Malta and treat ourselves to one last long swim in a bay with shallow, crystal-clear waters—perfect for swimming, diving, and relaxing on board. We have lunch surrounded by white rocks and turquoise waters, then head to Santa Marija Bay, a quiet corner of Comino ideal for snorkeling and diving. In the afternoon, we resume sailing along Malta’s east coast to San Paolo Bay. In the evening, we wrap up our sailing vacation in Malta in the best possible way: dinner ashore and a stroll through the historic streets of Vittoriosa.
Seventh day
Disembarkation
We treat ourselves to one last leisurely breakfast, choosing between a traditional Maltese spot and a more indulgent option to start the day off right. Before us lie the cliffs, the pale hues of the coastline, and that sea that has accompanied us all week. It’s time for goodbyes, final stories shared, and quick photos snapped before disembarking. And so our sailing vacation comes to an end: with a sense of lightness, salt on our skin, and the desire to set sail again.
The nearest airport is Malta International Airport. To get to the boarding gate, we recommend using Uber or Bolt.
