WHERE ARE WE GOING?
Program
First day
In the afternoon, I arrive at the hotel in Gallio, a town on theAsiago Plateau, enveloped in the magical atmosphere of winter. After-dinner briefing to introduce the vacation: a unique experience that combines the charm of winter nature with the well-being of slow, mindful movement. The perfect way to kick off your active vacation, surrounded by nature and excitement.
Second day
First hike in the Venetian Pre-Alps: if there is snow, we may decide to go on a group snowshoeing on Monte Cimon or try our hand at cross-country skiing , perhaps by taking a lesson with an instructor (optional). If there is no snow, you can still enjoy the magic of the landscape with a walk while breathing in the pure mountain air. After the excursion, we can choose whether to continue having fun on the slopes or treat ourselves to lunch at a mountain hut: polenta, cheeses, local cured meats, and of course theAsiago DOP, the undisputed king of the table.
In the afternoon, a walk along the old train track, followed by an hour of relaxation at the spa: those who prefer can choose just the heated pool or a private fitness class. Back in Gallio, dinner awaits us at the hotel.
Third day
Today we’ll be heading to the area of Campomulo. Depending on weather conditions, there will be aguided hike on the Malga Fiaretta Loop: if there is snow, we’ll put on snowshoes and traverse beautiful forests of larch and fir trees in a picture-perfect setting. Those who prefer can return to try their hand at cross-country skiing, perfecting their technique at the cross-country center. We’ll be able to warm up a bit midday with a traditional lunch at a mountain hut to discover traditional Venetian cuisine. The afternoon will be free: for those who wish, there will be an opportunity to visit the Great War Museum. Afterward, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner.

Today starts off calmly, following the relaxed pace typical of the mountains. We take a walk together in the historic center of Asiago, where we can explore artisan workshops, shops, and Christmas markets. After lunch together, we’ll head out in our cars to the Verenetta parking lot, where we’ll set off on theguided hike to Monte Verena, our evening destination where we’ll have dinner at 2,000 meters and spend the night in a mountain hut! If the landscape is snow-covered, we’ll be moving around on snowshoes , and along the way, thanks to our expert guide, we’ll learn to recognize the tracks of the wild animals that inhabit these woods. In the evening, we’ll have the chance to relax in the cozy lodge in the warmth, gazing out at the valley through its large windows and feeling closer to the stars!
Route information: 6 km, approximately 2 hours of walkingFifth day
Our last morning on theAsiago Plateau brings us a few more thrills. After a delicious breakfast at the lodge, we head down from the lodge that hosted us to start the year off on the right foot! Those who wish can take advantage of the last few hours to return to the cross-country ski trails; for those who are leaving, there remains the bittersweet regret of having to say goodbye to this enchanted corner of Veneto. You’ve enjoyed an experience amidst snow-covered landscapes, quiet trails, ancient mountain huts, and traditional Venetian dishes. A journey designed to reconnect you with nature, slow down the pace, and embrace the well-being that only the mountains can offer. Until our next adventure together… perhaps along springtime trails or among the blooming mountain pastures of summer!
