WHERE ARE WE GOING?
Program
First day
Crossing the Adriatic and Arrival in Lovran
We set sail in the morning from San Benedetto del Tronto for the crossing of the Adriatic Sea toward Croatia. It’s the perfect day to get into the rhythm of the sailing vacation, with sailing, relaxation on deck, and the open sea. If conditions permit, we’ll stop for a swim in the clear waters of the archipelago. In the evening, we’ll reach Levrnaka, in the heart of the Kornati, the perfect destination for those dreaming of Croatia by boat and authentic bays.
Second day
Levrnaka and the Kornati Bays
We wake up in Levrnaka, surrounded by silence, crystal-clear water, and the slow pace of a boat vacation in Croatia. The morning is perfect for swimming, snorkeling in the Kornati, and a scenic walk to the famous bay of Lojena, one of the archipelago’s most famous. In the afternoon, we set sail for Lavsa, a well-sheltered bay ideal for an overnight stay at anchor surrounded by nature, relaxation, and crystal-clear waters.
Third day
Žakan and arrival in Smokvica
We weigh anchor after breakfast and head into the wildest parts of the archipelago. We reach Žakan, a favorite landing spot for sailors, perfect for a lunch break with a view of the sea. In the afternoon, we resume our route through islets, channels, and rocky cliffs until we reach Smokvica, a scenic area of the Kornati Islands, amidst white cliffs, deep blues, and crystal-clear waters. Overnight at anchor.
Fourth day
Leaving the Kornati Islands and arriving in Murter
We leave behind the most remote landscape of the Kornati and set course for the Murter Sea, navigating through channels, islets, and stretches ideal for sailing. In the afternoon, we enter Marina Betina, on the island of Murter, an excellent stopover for restocking and to enjoy showers and marina services. Then we’ll take a walk in Betina, a village with authentic charm, featuring stone-paved alleys and a Dalmatian atmosphere.
Fifth day
Hiljača and Our Last Evening in Žut
We set sail again toward Žut, one of the archipelago’s largest islands, dotted with bays such as Hiljača. Here we treat ourselves to one last swim, some sun on deck, and the pleasure of a clear, calm sea. In the afternoon, we head to our evening anchorage in Žut, surrounded by warm lights, a dinner with a view of the water, and the island’s lovely nautical atmosphere. Overnight stay in the bay or at the marina.
Sixth day
Final crossing and return to Italy
We bid farewell to the Croatian islands and set course for San Benedetto del Tronto, tackling the final crossing of the Adriatic. It’s a day of open sea, wind, and offshore sailing, to be savored to the fullest as we once again enjoy the rhythm of a sailing vacation between Croatia and Italy. Between relaxing on deck and taking one last look at the blue waters, we arrive in the evening at the port of San Benedetto del Tronto, where we spend our final night on board at the marina.
Seventh day
Disembarkation
After our last breakfast on board, it’s time to disembark in San Benedetto del Tronto in the morning. We leave behind a week of crossings, dives in crystal-clear bays, snorkeling, nights at anchor, sunsets over the Kornati , and stops in small Croatian ports. What remains is the joy of life on board, the slow pace of sailing, and that sense of freedom that makes a sailing vacation in Croatia.
The nearest train station is San Bedetto del Tronto.
There are both free and paid parking lots in the area near the port.
The exact boarding location will be announced a few days before departure.
