WHERE ARE WE GOING?

Program

First day

From Cavallino Treporti to Spiaggia del Mort
Our skippered sailing vacation begins with boarding at Cavallino Treporti by noon, a charming village nestled between the Venetian Lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. After meeting the rest of the crew, we stow our belongings in our cabin and stock up on provisions for the week, selecting a few traditional Venetian specialties to enjoy during our aperitifs together. We set sail toward Jesolo Pineta and Spiaggia del Mort, where we’ll anchor for our first night at the bend of the Piave River. Over the next few days, we’ll cruise along the Venetian coastline, passing through islands, lagoons, and hidden marinas, before heading toward Croatia and the Istrian Peninsula, where we’ll explore the famous towns of Umag, Novigrad, and Rovinj.

Second day

Caorle Lagoon and an Evening in the Village
We cast off and, carried by the wind, sail leisurely toward the Caorle Lagoon, famous for its fishing channels and the characteristic “casoni”—traditional homes made of wood and reeds where fishermen once lived with their families. Those who’d like to can help the skipper and learn the basics of sailing, while others can relax on the bow and soak up the sun. We’ll moor inside the historic harbor and head ashore for a seafood dinner and a stroll through Caorle’s charming historic center. If, on the other hand, the wind is particularly favorable, we may even cross over and head for the Istrian coast.

Third day

Heading to Istria
Our sailing vacation between Istria and Italy really gets going with a spectacular crossing to the coast of Croatia. We’ll spend the next few days exploring the Istrian coast, sailing among sheltered coves, pine trees that brush the sea, and ancient villages with Venetian charm. After some relaxation and refreshing swims, we’ll reach the charming towns of Umag or Novigrad, perfect for a stroll along the waterfront and an aperitif with a view of the sea. The evening continues, if we wish, with dinner ashore, featuring authentic Croatian cuisine and an atmosphere not to be missed.

Fourth day

Between the Brijuni Islands and the beaches of Rovinj
Let’s hoist the sails and set out to explore the Brijuni Islands by sailboat—a true gem of the Istrian coast. A day awaits us here filled with secluded coves, crystal-clear waters, and unspoiled nature—perfect for swimming and relaxing on the boat. Alternatively, we can head further north and visit the beaches of Rovinj by boat—one of Istria’s most charming towns. Let’s put on our masks for a dip and some snorkeling! In the evening, we’ll go ashore for a stroll among its colorful houses, the picturesque little harbor, and the narrow streets with a Venetian atmosphere. We’ll spend the night at anchor under the stars.

Fifth day

Sailing north to Piran
We continue our week of sailing in Croatia by setting course northtoward Piran, a charming village with an Istrian-Venetian soul—a beautiful town with a Venetian atmosphere. As we sail, we enjoy the sun on deck, take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of coves lined with pine trees, and admire the unique panorama of the Istrian coast. How exciting it is to reach Istria’s secret coves, accessible only by boat!
What better way to end this day? A cooking challenge on board or a light dinner at a traditional Istrian tavern, immersed in the authentic flavors of the local cuisine?

Sixth day

Final Crossing to Caorle or Jesolo
Our final day at sea takes us back to Italy. We’ll enjoy a leisurely breakfast with a view of the sea and begin our crossing of the Adriatic Sea, heading toward the Gulf of Trieste or the Marano Lagoon. This sail will give us a deeper insight into life on board and allow us to put into practice what we’ve learned throughout the week: halyards, sheets, and the mainsail will hold no more secrets! Those who want to relax can lie in the sun or gaze at the horizon, hoping to spot some whales! Toward evening, we’ll reach the Venetian coast, passing through historic canals and picturesque lagoon landscapes near Caorle or Jesolo.

Seventh day

Return to Cavallino and Disembarkation fr
These final hours with our new friends feel different. After a wonderful sailing vacation in Croatia, spent cruising among medieval villages and enchanting beaches, no one wants to go home. We let Aeolus fill the sails and carry us back to Cavallino Treporti in the morning, taking with us the memory of a unique experience. We’ve enjoyed an exciting week on the boat—perfect for true lovers of the sea and nature—sharing laughter, stories, and moments of pure joy. Now, as we bid farewell to this unforgettable journey, we’re already brimming with enthusiasm, knowing that every goodbye brings with it the desire to return to the waves.

The crew will evaluate every decision in the interest of safety, navigation, and the overall harmony of life on board, taking into account, whenever possible, the needs of the participants as well. For this reason, routes, stops, and overnight anchorage points may vary during the trip.
