Dolomiti 360°, active trekking vacation between Civetta, Lagazuoi, and Pale di San Martino, and a night in a mountain hut at over 2000 meters

A trekking tour perfect for those who love elevation gain and mountain walks and want to explore the Dolomites: they are among the most famous mountains in the world, but together we will walk along their most authentic trails, often far from the most crowded places, to experience breathtaking views and total immersion in nature. Immerse yourself in the Belluno and Trentino Dolomites, based on the shores of the picturesque Lake Alleghe in a comfortable hotel with spa and half board. It will be an unforgettable experience among vast landscapes, exciting treks, and new experiences, a journey that combines the beauty of these legendary mountains with the desire to explore them in a sustainable way, far from overtourism.
We look forward to seeing you in
Alleghe for a group vacation with a historic Jonas guide and discover the Lagazuoi Gallery, the Anello della Croda da Lago and the climb to Monte Mulaz. The most special moment? Sleeping in a mountain hut and waking up at dawn on Cima Coldai, with the sun illuminating the imposing walls of Monte Civetta
The trip is structured with an intelligent rhythm, designed to allow you to experience each excursion with energy and pleasure. The basic formula includes
5 days, from Sunday to Thursday, a concentration of iconic treks between Civetta and Lagazuoi. For those who want to truly immerse themselves in the soul of the Dolomites, it is possible to add the following days at an unmissable price, transforming the experience into a full 8-day week in the Dolomites. This is the option we recommend: it allows you to alternate intense days with moments of recovery, experience more environments, and enjoy the mountains without rushing, with a perfect balance between exertion, views, and relaxation.
Five days are a powerful taste. Eight days are the true Dolomite experience.

Program

First day

Whether you have chosen the short 4-night package or the full 8-day package 8 days in the Dolomites, our journey begins in one of the most charming villages in the Dolomites. Welcome to Alleghe, gateway to the Belluno Dolomites, easily accessible, is the ideal starting point for a trekking holiday. We settle into our hotel, which has a wellness area and an outdoor terrace with a bar. In the afternoon, we meet our guide, who will accompany us over the next few days as we discover the Dolomites. It will also be the perfect time to get to know the rest of the group, perhaps with an aperitif together or a walk around the center of Alleghe. The vacation has officially begun!

Second day

Lagazuoi: between history and endless views
After breakfast, transfer to Falzarego Pass and trekking excursion on the Lagazuoi Group, in the heart of the Dolomites. The terrace is famous for its incredible view of the Dolomite peaks, so much so that it is mentioned among the most spectacular viewpoints by the most prestigious mountain and tourism magazines. Before enjoying lunch, we recommend a short walk to the top of Lagazuoi. For the return trip, we can choose to descend on foot with the guide or by panoramic cable car. Return to the hotel for some relaxation, then dinner with a barbecue in the woods.

For the more active: the Marmolada, Queen of the Dolomites. From Malga Ciapela, three cable cars take you up to Punta Rocca, opposite Punta Penia, the highest peak in the Dolomites. We pass through the prairies of Mondeval, a Mesolithic archaeological site, climb up to Forcella Ambrizzola and descend to Lake Fedèra and the Palmieri Refuge, a stop on theAlta Via n.1, the most famous trekking route in the Dolomites. From the splendid Val Venegia , we begin our hike through pastures, woods, and panoramic views. The trail climbs gently, alternating between green stretches and hairpin bends among rocks and gravel, until it reaches the Volpi al Mulaz Refuge. For those who wish, there is the option of climbing the nearby peak of Mulaz, recognizable by its characteristic bell. After a well-deserved lunch break, we return to the cars along the same route, with one of the most iconic landscapes of the Dolomites in our eyes. Relaxation at the hotel and a final dinner to celebrate this fantastic holiday in the Dolomites!

Eighth day (optional)

The last day of our trekking tour has arrived: an intense week among the peaks of Lagazuoi, the majesty of Civetta, and the luminous elegance of Pale di San Martino. We walked through history and nature, crossed very different environments, slept in mountain huts, shared views, fatigue, and smiles. We chose to travel together, sharing transportation and reducing our environmental impact: a vacation that combines discovery, relationships, and care for the mountains that host us. Itinerary information
It is advisable to be trained for this type of route because you will cover about ten kilometers per day with elevation gains of up to 1000 meters. The excursions will mainly be above 1700 meters above sea level, therefore at high altitude and with some slightly exposed sections of the trail, protected by metal handrails. There are no via ferrata on this route.
Notes
You can choose between the short Sunday–Thursday option or a single 8-day experience in the Dolomites.
Important
As with any active trip, the itinerary is subject to change—including the order of activities or stops—depending on weather conditions, road conditions, any temporary closures or restrictions at sites, locations, or areas to be visited, as well as the guide’s judgment, who will always act in the best interests of the group and the safety of the participants. The activity will take place even in case of bad weather, except in situations involving weather alerts or conditions that could compromise safety; we therefore recommend bringing appropriate gear for possible precipitation and temperature changes.
Train

Take the train to Belluno station, then the bus to Alleghe, which stops in front of the train station. For timetables and fares, visit: https://dolomitibus.it/it/linee-extraurbane-estive, Belluno - Agordo - Alleghe suburban line (timetables are usually updated in June for line 1 + line 3). Get off at Masarè, the stop is near the hotel.

Cars

Free parking on site. During the middle weeks of August, Alleghe usually hosts an event and the car park near the property is closed: you will therefore need to be patient and you will find parking, but a little further away.
