WHERE ARE WE GOING?

Program

First day

We’ll meet in the late afternoon at the Monfalcone marina or at a port in the Gulf of Trieste. Once we’ve settled in on board, we’ll coordinate with the skipper to stock the galley, and we’ll shop together for supplies at one of the supermarkets near the port. Back on board, we’ll have plenty of time to stow the groceries carefully. The skipper, after assessing the weather, schedules, and currents, will decide whether to set sail that evening to spend the night at anchor or depart the following morning, always with safety as the top priority. The evening continues with dinner on board and pleasant conversation to get to know each other and prepare for our adventure at sea.

Second day

We set sail for Piran, Slovenia’s little Istrian-Venetian gem, or Umag and Poreč in Croatia—charming towns that boast a rich artistic and architectural heritage. During the cruise, there will be plenty of time to relax in the sun, take refreshing dips in the crystal-clear waters, and enjoy the views of the Istrian coast. In the afternoon, we’ll dock in one of these seaside towns with their unmistakable Venetian flair, perfect for a stroll through charming narrow streets. The day concludes with dinner at a traditional restaurant, immersed in the authentic flavors of Istria.

Third day

The sailing weekend in Croatia continues with a relaxing return voyage along the enchanting Istrian coastline and through the Gulf of Trieste. We’ll take turns at the helm to experience the thrill of sailing, or stop to explore the historic ports of Muggia or Grignano. As we sail along the coast, we’ll be enchanted by the majestic Miramare Castle, the coves of Sistiana, and the striking cliffs of Duino, which plunge steeply into the sea. We’re scheduled to return to port in the afternoon, bringing this adventure filled with nature and freedom to a close. A warm farewell to the group and… until the next adventure!

Fourth day

(only for the 3-night itinerary; this should be scheduled between the second and third day) We continue sailing toward the southern part of Poreč, heading toward Vrsar, a stretch of coastline characterized by countless hidden coves and crystal-clear waters. These little corners of paradise are the perfect place to take a refreshing dip and enjoy moments of pure relaxation under the sun. In the evening, we can choose between a convivial dinner on board or an evening at one of Poreč’s traditional restaurants, where we can savor Istrian specialties. We conclude the day with a night at anchor, lulled by the waves, or moored in the marina.
